Our Strawberries are grown on 3 acres of the finest irrigated farmland in the County of Newell.
We grow Junebearing strawberries for U-pick customers and Day Neutral strawberries for Farmer's market
Junebearing - Produce a heavy crop early July to early August (depending on weather)
Kent - (medium size berry with robust strawberry flavor).
Day Neutral - Available at Farmer's Market only. This will be my last season (2011) growing these berries, next season I will have the Junebearing only which start second week of July and go until first week of August.
Raspberries - After much "suggestion" and coercion I have decided to put raspberries in the patch but I am starting small, only 300 plants . I have both primocane and floricane plants.
Vegetables - I am planting veggies again this year and hopefully we get enough of a summer to produce.
Upick Flowers
New this season, we have/are planting a huge variety of flowers for upick as well as pre-picked bouquets available at the store. We are pretty excited about this new addition to the upick and can't wait to see everything in bloom. Available will be Lilies, Gladiolus, Sunflowers and many more for a beautiful mixed summer bouquet.
