Our Strawberries are grown on 3 acres of the finest irrigated farmland in the County of Newell.
We grow both Junebearing and Day Neutral strawberries, varieties include:
Day Neutral - Produce end of June to first hard frost with the heaviest production September to October (depending on weather). Cool nights makes these berries incredibly sweet.
Seascape - (the biggest berries I have ever seen).
.
Junebearing - Produce a heavy crop early July to early August (depending on weather)
Kent - (medium size berry with robust strawberry flavor).
Cavendish - (large berry, very juicy and sweet).
Vegetables - New this season
Peas, carrots, beans (green and yellow), sweet corn, cucumbers (pickling and eating), squash (winter and summer), beets, potatoes (red, white and Yukon Gold), pumpkins, tomatoes, tomatillos, onions, celery, lettuce, basil, dill, parsley, and fresh rosemary are available. I am trying a few new veggies this year including Eggplant, Indian corn and Sweet Potatoes!
